This painting was made in winter 2019 after a walk on Wimbledon Common with a childhood friend. We reminisced about youthful adventures roaming the semi-wild space close to our homes. I have no Wimbledon Common all my life and never grow tired of photographing and painting it. The path is a recurring motif in my work, representing my own journey from pain and depression into reborn hope.

This picture is made with acrylic paint and art pen on watercolour paper. It is size A3, 30 x 42 cm

The picture is sold unframed, photographs of it in a frame are for illustration only.
