An atmospheric original painting on stretched canvas.

One of many paintings inspired by walks in my local park, Wandsworth Park. This was painted in November 2021 after a very wet morning as the leaves were starting to fall from the London plane trees.

I used strong brushstrokes and muted colours to convey the moodiness of the weather .  I try to capture how a place makes me feel rather than to create a literal representation.

Dimensions are 51×41×2 cm.

This painting is sold unframed.  You can hang it straight on the wall or for extra impact you can add a frame.  For advice on framing check the caring for your artwork page on my website.

This picture can be used unframed or you can add a frame of your choice for styling.

About Me:

I am a self-taught artist who celebrates the beauty of nature.  I started painting 4 years ago to escape the pain of a chronic condition called fibromyalgia.  Art has changed my life.  Last year, one of my paintings was included in the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition 2021, and I was part of a BBC2 documentary which can still be seen on iPlayer.  (Link on my website).  My work has been shown in the prestigious Mall Galleries.

Please be aware that colours may look slightly different on screen to in reality.  The way they look on screen is determined by your screen settings.
