This painting is inspired by summer walks around the town of Bury St Edmunds in Suffolk. In particular this is the view across to Leg of Mutton Field from No Man's Meadow. It was painted during summer 2021. It's a joyful celebration of the very special environment around the river Lark.

This is a mixed media painting on watercolour paper. I used metallic acrylic paint and iridescent art pen to make the colours really pop.

The image is size A3, 42 x 30 cm. This painting is sold in a simple wood and glass sage green frame, with a pale green mount, ready to hang. Size, 51 x 41 cm, 20 x 16"

About Me:

I am a self-taught artist who celebrates the beauty of nature.  I started painting 4 years ago to escape the pain of a chronic condition called fibromyalgia.  Art has changed my life.  Last year, one of my paintings was included in the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition 2021, and I was part of a BBC2 documentary which can still be seen on iPlayer.  (Link on my website).  My work has been shown in the prestigious Mall Galleries.

Please be aware that colours may look slightly different on screen to in reality,.  The way they look on screen is determined by your screen settings.
