A joyful painting created with acrylic paint on paper, sold in a frame.
This is one of a series of paintings which I made during and after a short trip to Devon in September 2021. The weather was changeable and rained quite a bit, but we enjoyed walking nevertheless. This painting was inspired by an ancient sunken road near Ermington, where we were staying, with trees either side and ferns clinging to the banks.
The painting is made with acrylic paint and pen on watercolour paper. My style could be described as neoexpressionist. I try to capture how a place makes me feel rather than to create a literal representation. I have teamed this small picture with a black mount and black wooden frame.
The frame is made in the UK, with traditional methods, using glass and wood. Frame size 8 x 8", 20 x 20 cm. The frame has a hanging attachment and a stand at the back so it can be used on a shelf or wall.
This painting ships from my studio in London by signed for delivery service, included within the price. All my original paintings are carefully wrapped in protective acid free packaging.
About Me: I am a self-taught painter whose work celebrates the natural world. One of my paintings is currently on display in the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition 2021.
