This work was inspired by flooding in the water meadows of the river Lark in December 2021. It is one of a series of pictures which I made  on this theme. It was created with watercolour, gouache and acrylic paints and pen on watercolour paper.I used metallic paint and iridescent art pen to create the highlights.

This painting is sold in a simple wood and glass black frame, with a black mount, ready to hang.

Size: The frame is size 41 x 51 cm, or 16 x 20", in the portrait orientation.

About Me:

I am a self-taught artist who celebrates the beauty of nature.  I started painting 4 years ago to escape the pain of a chronic condition called fibromyalgia.  Art has changed my life.  Last year, one of my paintings was included in the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition 2021, and I was part of a BBC2 documentary which can still be seen on iPlayer.  (Link on my website).  My work has been shown in the prestigious Mall Galleries.
